Location: Café Valletta is located at 12-14 O’Connell Street, Sydney opposite the Radisson Plaza Hotel. O’Connell Street runs from the intersection of Pitt and Hunter Streets up to Bent Street. If you are driving note that O’Connell is a one way traffic street from Bent Street towards Hunter Street. Various parking stations are available in the area. While Wynyard Station is the closest train station Café Valletta is also close to Circular Quay, Martin Place and Pitt Street Mall.

Trading Hours: Café Valletta is open for Breakfast and lunch, Monday to Friday from 6.00am to 4.30pm and Saturday from 7.00am to 3.00pm.

Features: Café Valletta seats sixty guests indoors, twenty outdoors and features its own in-house bakery. Sourdough, other bread, pies, savoury snacks and sweets are prepared and baked on the premises.

The Food: The best available fresh ingredients are used with great care to prepare all the meals offered at Café Valletta including the variety of bread and sweets. Licensed to sell alcoholic beverages Café Valletta offers varied menus for All Day Breakfast, Lunch, Seafood, Take Away, Corporate Catering and Private Functions. The cuisine is mainly Mediterranean and Australian with a touch of Maltese featuring freshly baked pastizzi and Maltese ricotta ravioli.

Private Functions: Café Valletta is available for private functions with menus to cater for your requirements seven days a week.

Pick-up a Meal: You may order any dish or more from the Café Valletta menus on line or over the phone to pick up and take with you to work or home. This service is available throughout the opening hours except between 12.00noon and 2.00pm. Menu prices less 10% apply for this service.

Quick Lunch: At Café Valletta we are well aware of the limited time most of our patrons have available for lunch and pride ourselves in our swift service. However, to make it even swifter you may place your lunch order on line or over the phone so that by the time you take your seat your meal is on its way to your table.

The Name: Café Valletta is named after the city of Valletta, capital of the Maltese Islands. Valletta is another harbour city right in the middle of the Mediterranean having a lot in common both naturally and historically with the beautiful city of Sydney.
